So, remember no matter what method you decide on to generate your online income, there’s one vital thing to know: whatever you do you remember you are associating it with your personal brand, so take a moment to decide what you’re going to focus on. Money is often earned and spent, invested and wasted but time on the other hand you will never get back. That’s why time is way more valuable than money. Unfortunately you cannot recreate time. Once it’s spent, it’s gone forever.
When you lack time, making money on or offline can appear to be impossible, no matter who you are, so really manage your time. How you perform managing your time when you don’t have enough is the breach of being successful or not. There will be another article about time management and how to become productive with your time in the future but for now lets keep on learning how to make money online.
So, consider the following passive income structures as a part of your work routine and give it your best, because you never know where it will take you. If you’re serious about generating any income online, then passive income should be one among your sole goals and ambitions. Why? Wouldn’t you prefer to try to work just one occasion and obtain paid repeatedly as against of counting on some time to get that income? Invest the time at the front-end in order that you’ll earn the advantages on the back-end. At the end anyone who is curious about making money online should be pursuing a passive income.
There are a lot of ways to get an income passively on the web, many of which start at the inspiration of getting a blog, generating traffic and building an audience for clients. It isn’t easy, but it’s worthwhile. So, research as much as possible and choose the best that fits you, because everything takes time. So with no more delays let’s get into it, here are the 7 ways to make money online:
- Use existing platforms/websites
There are multiple existing websites created to generate money. These include both active income and passive income methods. For instance can some used items or invest in creating some digital designs. Again, assign a large portion of time to understand what kind of passive income you want to get into in order for you to slowly build your brand and earnings. For example let’s say where I see a quick turnaround in areas such as photography, online marketing, graphic design and web development.
Now here are some websites to work with:
Fiverr: Now Fivver is a site that I recommend, they started back in 2010. Here you can offer gigs as low as $5 but also get paid far more for upgrades and add-ons. The best thing is that there are thousands of services you can offer.
Upwork: This website offers an excellent marketplace for selling almost any professional service. The best part is that you do not need a website or an app, just an account. All you would like to try to do is be ready to provide a HIGH QUALITY SERVICE at an inexpensive price. Just like anything else you’ll need to compete with many others that are constantly bidding on open jobs.
Craigslist: This site has been the go-to resource for over a decade now for folks that are looking to form a touch of additional money online, you can easily sell your used stuff, hire out a spare room in your home or apartment (we will talk about Airbnb in a moment), and offer your services to the planet .
Cafe Press: This website allows you to make digital designs which will then be sold on the platform. You’ll earn a commission for everything that sells and you will never need to get involved with certain headaches that a real company provides such as logistics in printing, warehousing and customer service, etc. If you’ve got some graphic design skills, then this is often an excellent potential source for your web-based income.
Mechanical Turk: Amazon’s Mechanical Turk may be a resource for doing human-intelligence tasks, or because the site commonly refers to them as HITs. You get paid a really small fee for any given HIT but at the same time you will need an honest deal of volume to form a considerable amount of cash. But it’s a resource you’ll use in your spare time to get a little income online.
Flippa: If you’ve got a taste for purchasing and selling, you’ll use Flippa, and its higher-end counterpart, basically it’s a brokerage for each deal. On the downside you will need to understand what you’re doing here, but you’ll easily make a large income by flipping income-generating websites for profit.
Etsy: While Etsy’s popularity has declined recently, it’s still an excellent resource for selling handmade items online especially if you add your brand to these items. No need for complex ecommerce sites or merchant accounts or any kind of automation. The corporate takes a commission of each sale and charges a little listing fee per item. But many still use Etsy as their primary source of income. Here you can sell digital products like poster designs.
Shutterstock and iStockPhoto: Have a keen eye for photography? Sell photos on a number of the leading photography sites. You will need some design software skills to accompany. But if you are doing or have skills in this area, it is a great potential source for passive income.
Threadless: this site is almost like CafePress, it allows you to sell digital designs within the sort of t-shirts and other merchandise like phone cases, mugs, and beach towels, etc.
Now there are other website, I just wanted to mention a couple of them
- Start a blog
I know what you are thinking, this is going to take a long time, but remember it will bring a passive income in the future. Blogging is one among the simplest and most sustainable income sources, check the stats. So, as long as the blog is set up in a proper way, within the right niche, the proper content, targeted at the proper audience, and you are constantly doing these blogs you will succeed. At the end if you know how to write, then you’ll make an incredible amount of passive income from a blog.
While some might think that starting a blog is a total laborious effort, which everything is at the beginning, but once you understand the process, it becomes far easier. It all starts with the decision of selecting a profitable niche and picking the proper name. From there on, you would like to create your offers, basically think about it as people paying you for commercials. Plus you easily sell things like mini-email courses, training sessions and ebooks, etc.
- Online Course/Training
Online Courses/Training are quite popular nowadays and probably among the best potent ways you’ll make an exorbitant amount of cash online. Now there are a couple things to know before jumping into this: you will need you to know what you’re talking about and the audience to coach. Of course, this usually requires having a good presence.
Now, I have seen people teach and talk about diverse subjects, so whatever you know, put it on video and teach people how to do it. There are multiple websites to put your content on once you finish your video such as:
Udemy: Udemy is an American online learning platform aimed at professional adults and students, developed in May 2010. As of Jan 2020, the platform has more than 50 million students and 57,000 instructors teaching courses in over 65 languages. There have been over 295 million course enrollments.
- Sell as an affiliate
There are a lot of resources for creating money online as an affiliate marketer. You will source products from various places such as Amazon, ClickBank, Commission Junction, Rakuten Marketing, Share-a-Sale, Impact Radius and lots of others. I use Amazon to recommend that books I have read to other entrepreneurs, so if you need a book check my recommendations, click HERE
Also other larger companies have their own affiliate programs. Do your due diligence and find the proper company with the relevant products/services you want to offer to your audience that you simply can sell as an affiliate marketer. Don’t forget once you set it up, share the link on all social media.
In some cases, you’ll need a lively website with substantial traffic to urge approval. Selling as an affiliate marketer isn’t easy by any means, but if you are doing it for the audience, it can definitely amount to a considerable amount of income.
- Email marketing
If you’re curious about online marketing, setup email software and make a lead magnet that you simply can use in your sales funnel. Then, build up that list. It’s often said that you simply expect to earn about $1 per subscriber per month. If you’ve got a list of 10,000 subscribers, then you’ll earn roughly around $10,000 per month. But you will have to deliver value and not pitch them on every email, but it’s a really achievable goal during a short period.
There are some ways to urge people onto your list. Lead magnets are one such resource. For instance if you create e-books, checklists and cheat sheets you can email it and send short snips on it to attack the correct people. You can also do content upgrades, like PDF versions of a piece of writing with added resources in them, training as a video training series, and more. Believe in what you’ll offer to your audience and treat them with some respect and you will eventually see the rewards.
Now, at this point one of these previous points has had to interest you or at least you know what you are talented/ good at. But if you still don’t know what to do. Check the next couple of options:
- Sell your own stuff
If you’re able to enter the ecommerce world, then you can sell your own stuff. A recommendation would be to create a website. So for starters, you will need an internet site and a hosting account. You’ll also need a merchant account like ones offered by Stripe or PayPal. Then you will need to style that site, build a sales funnel, create a lead magnet and do some email or social media marketing. If you need help with this then check one of my companies for help go to Vodigy Media or click HERE
Back to selling your stuff, you’ll also need ecommerce software, fulfillment software, warehousing, customer service and refunds. But that’s not all. You’ll also need traffic. Think about an optimization program, Facebook ads, and other social media campaigns. And most of the time you will be on your own. Or you can choose another platform with the same process such as Dropshipping, which could be a neater route. But, at the end of the day, this often is classified as a true business, which could produce a significant amount of profits.
Other platforms to use to sell your brand products:
Shopify: to create your own storefront you’ll probably want to create a Shopify store. You can also install WooCommerce as a plugin and run your ecommerce store from your blog if so use WordPress site. Please, you will need an SSL certificate to process payments just to make it secure not only for your site but also for your customers.
Fulfilled-by-Amazon (FBA): here you’ll start selling on the most important online store and not spend the time to create your own infrastructure or having to worry about traffic. You will get paid by commission, but most processes will be automated. In other words no headaches!!
Drop-shipping: Amazon offers one sort of drop-shipping, but there are other resources for drop-shipping products that you’re going to never even have to ascertain or handle yourself. You’ll simply have to close the sale. Providers like SaleHoo, Worldwide Brands, and lots of others, provide you with a resource for drop-shipping your products.
High-ticket consulting or coaching: you’ll sell your own high-ticket consulting or coaching products from your own website. So if you see the pattern you will need an internet site, merchant account, sales funnel, lead magnet and lots of other items. But you’ll easily earn a considerable amount of revenue from each individual customer, making it easier to hire more people in the future.
- Leverage the app economy
If you can’t do any of the things mentioned, then there is always the typical way to work for someone else, but as a self-employee. If you are looking to get some immediate financial needs. Then this can help you pay your bills.
Uber or Lyft: If you’re during this constantly I have read you can make about $500 dollars per week. There are perks on this. For example the hours are flexible. This would be great if you currently have full-time employment but are looking to generate some money on the side. Maybe this could help to put that money to you next idea!!
iBotta: Earn cash and get rewards by purchasing featured products at major retailers. All you’ve got to try to do is add rebates, then snap a photograph of your receipt to earn your cashback. It’s very simple and effective.
Task Rabbit: Another simple and easy app for creating a touch of side-hustle income is the Task Rabbit app. Tasks are often anything from simple repairs to more detailed tasks. This app ensures each service provider to make sure it is the very best quality, and it is a good way to form some extra income on the side on your own terms.
Ebates: This app offers an easy way to make money online by buying whatever you’re already buying then getting a cash-back reward. With eBates, the best part is that there are no scanning receipts. Simply click a link within the app and pip out from the shop. You’ll automatically be credited with your cash rewards upon purchase along the side of receiving an email confirmation.
Swagbucks: With Swagbucks, there are a variety of the ways you’ll make money. You can shop online, watch videos, answer surveys and surf online. The app gives you both cashback and gift cards as a gift for your efforts.
Inbox Dollars: Another app you’ll use to form money online is Inbox Dollars, which pays you for watching television (if you have decided what to do by now, I bet this app is crossing your mind!), taking surveys and shopping. Also here are cash offers.
No matter what method you select to form money online, understand that you simply are ready to make some money fast, everything has to do with what you want to do. However, a very important part of success is measuring your trajectory so see how you are a year from now. So, remember, TIME IS WAY MORE VALUABLE THAN MONEY. Specialize in creating passive income streams which will take some time. Most people who are wealthy have multiple passive income streams.
So, whatever you do, just start. Starting is the hardest part. So just start!!
